History

Welcome to PowerFit Equipment. My name is Alan Quinn and I own and operate Fit Communities, DBA PowerFit Equipment, & Rubber Floors & More. 

Established in the USA in 2002, Fit Communities was formed after years of request through my personal training client base.

Since then I have opened and managed several health clubs and continue to do so to this day.

I have been involved in the fitness industry since 1988. I started in Ireland with Track & Field, competing on the European Circuit and then fell in love with natural Body Building, winning my first Mr. Ireland Body Building contest in 1992. When an opportunity arrived to come to the US in 1993, I jumped on it.  Since then I have opened and managed several health clubs and continue to do so to this day.

In 1996 I had an opportunity to help furnish the first ever Olympic Health Club at the Olympic Village in Atlanta Georgia. Since then my companies have thrived with the good fortune and hospitality of the South. My staff and I continue to service CrossFit Communities, Commercial Health Club Industry, Schools/Universities, Corporate Fitness Centers, Neighborhood Fitness Facilities and Private Home Owners to name a few.
